Who Am I?

I'm from Utah. I work as a Stage Manager in theatre, which tends to take me all over. I love to travel, which takes me everywhere else. I am really close to my family, which brings me home regularly. I live in New York now, which is pretty weird, fun, random, expensive, and magical.


I just recently turned 30. Here are 30 things about me:


1. I am Mormon.

2. I have a Bachelor's degree in International Business.

3. I've walked the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

4. My favorite kind of traveling is Road Tripping.

5. I'm a contributing writer for The Zagg Blog.

6. My favorite winter treat is hot chocolate and peanut butter M&M's.

7. I'm not ashamed to admit that I love TV.

8. I use Apple computers, but that's it. Google and Android for everything else.

9. Christmas is my favorite.

10. One of my favorite roles in life is Aunt.

11. I'm competitive when I play games so don't be surprised by that, but I'm not mean. After all, it's just a game.

12. I'm a little bit sarcastic.

13. I've been to 40 states.

14. My friends and I love having movie marathons where we choose a theme and watch 3 movies that fall into the theme. (Example: Time travel - Back to the Future, Time Traveler's Wife, Meet the Robinsons)

15. Speaking of Time Travel, I love it. Super fascinating. I watch any movie and read any book I can find that has to do with Time Travel.

16. I'm a chocoholic.

17. I love cats and dogs. I think it's silly when people think you have to choose.

18.  One of my favorite books is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Not because I agree with it, but because it made me really think about what I do agree with.

19. I love scaring people. Like, jumping out of a closet and screaming kind of scaring.  Nobody gets hurt and usually everybody ends up laughing. Fun for all.

20. I grew up in Utah, so I grew up skiing.  Countless Saturdays on the mountain with my best friend, going wherever we wanted, then eating lunch out of a fanny pack when I got hungry.

21. I enjoy people, but I think I might be an introvert.

22. It's quite amazing how awkward I can be sometimes.

23. I really enjoy having discussions where not everybody agrees, but as soon as things turn to personal attacks I literally hate everybody.

24. I don't like Halloween or Horror Movies. At all.

25. I love laughing, but who doesn't? I also enjoy a good cry.

26. I lived in Vanuatu as a missionary. So I lived in small spaces. I believe it's because of this experience that I still love living in tiny spaces.  My bedroom is smaller than some walk in closets, it's great.

27. I got the nickname LizPro in high school from a pair of Liz Claiborne athletics socks.

28. When people ask questions like, "What is your favorite..." I rarely have an answer. Because (Christmas excluded) I really don't have favorites of many things.  It all depends on what mood I'm in.

29. Some people in New York think I'm naive, but I'd rather be considered naive than jaded.

30. I just want to meet people, experience things, eat great food, and laugh til I die.
